The War On Kids: Official Site

Schools have become prisons. In fact, they are designed by the same architects.
Natural child-like behavior has become criminalized.
Zero Tolerance has replaced common sense.
There is a war on kids, and now there is a documentary about just that.

  1. Well…I'm from a smaller town, and in high school, we had only a few problems. I did notice that the school hired a cop to patrol the hallways, which was creepy (we called him the rent-a-cop XD). He did arrest one student there in 2006 i think… she pulled a knife on another student, so I'm actually thankful that a cop was there. Schools are having to crack down hard on kids now, and unfortunately it's detrimental to the educational environment. I think the source of a lot of the discipline problems with some kids is the large gap between modern kids and their parents. Parents and guardians I think should take a more active role in their children's development and not rely completely upon the public educational system to teach them.

  2. its about time some one said something about how fucked up our schools are, if we are saposed to be the best country in the world why the hell do we have one of the worst education systems in the world

  3. If we are supposed to be the best country in the world, why the hell do we have one of the worst health care systems in the world too.

I mean we could keep going on about that list.
